"Blanc et Noir Nursery Suite" in neo-classical style was the winner of the national ASID award in 1990.
The contrasting light and dark palette in the nursery was chosen in response to research which has shown that newborns
respond best to the high contrast of black and white. Bleached antique woods, ivory lace, taffeta, and organdy are perfect
foils for gleaming black silks. Neoclassical motifs on furniture repeat throughout the sitting room, dressing room and bath.
